You love them dogs ? That's good? ! Today, we present you a coffee, where 12 small corgis like to walk around freely! So, after the cat-and-dwarf cafes in Japan, it's time for Thailand to get started! The new trend of places with animals is diversifying and brings a whole new clientele, for which having a pet at home is sometimes impossible.
Located at Bangkok, coffee "Corgi in the Garden" welcomes customers who can enjoy a drink, while stroking a dozen small balls of hair! Twelve corgis are therefore housed in the establishment. They make the happiness Thais and other tourists came to give them sweets and shake their heads. Pushing even some to get their own dog: the race of corgis has also experienced a huge spike in interest since the opening of the cafe. We must believe that these little dogs, famous for being the favorite of Queen Elizabeth II, are very popular around the world!
The owner of "Corgi in the Garden", Tanchanok Kanawaong, is a big fan of these little dogs, who are "funny and endearing".
I love big dogs, and I even had 10 Siberian Huskies and Golden Retrievers at the same time! But when they got older and left, I was looking for dogs with similar characteristics, but smaller. So, I decided to adopt a baby Corgi.
Later, the owner then took another corgi, then another one. And they were fast five. Then some of them had babies and so, Tanchanok ended up with 12 corgis ! So, even if having a dog café was absolutely not her initial goal, she is happy to be able to share the joy that her dogs spread around them.
Porkchop, Salmon, Pumpkin and the others "work" six days out of sevenbut receive many treats for their hard work. But Tanchanok is very careful that they do not gain too much weight. In the program ? Alot of breaks, up to 3 times a day, where they can spend themselves in a beautiful green space to stretch their legs in the fresh air! They are even trained to shake the patoune to customers, thanks to a professional who teaches them these tricks with positive methods.
real anti stress for some customers, these corgis also allow a few curious get familiar with with the dog breed. "Coming here, I understand their characteristics better, which reinforces my idea of taking one," says Chutima Jaroonjintayanon, a 36-year-old Bangkok resident.
According to the owner, the welfare of these little dogs is a priority. So, it is normal to have set up some rules : since places are still limited, reservations are not accepted. It is therefore the first-time arrivals who can benefit from this service. Count around 10€ for a one hour session with these adorable corgis!
